Showcasing the best of Guardian audio
Podcasting debuted in the summer of 2003 but was coined the following year by Ben Hammersley in an article for the Guardian. Since then, The Guardian has continued to demonstrate an ability to translate its legacy of in-depth reporting into a compelling and accessible format.
I collaborated with The Guardian’s editorial audio team, to design, test and launch the flagship daily news podcast, "Today in Focus". The award-winning podcast now has over 250 million listens worldwide.
In parallel, we reimagined the entire audio portfolio - creating space for a greater range of topics and formats. From investigative journalism to cultural commentary, these podcasts delved into the world's multifaceted narratives, captivating listeners with their diverse perspectives and thought-provoking content. Together, we transformed the way news was consumed, offering new audiences a more immersive and engaging experience.
